Chrome has been fine for me and has much better memory usage (250-500 MB as opposed to Firefox's >1GB). I know that sounds unusual but maybe it's cause I'm using a modern Macbook or something about my specs.
Maybe you guys like it so much for its builtin protection. I can't argue there..

I again mean the MacBook Air with 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD, for $999. iPhones come with 6GB MAX and that should be just enough since iOS needs less ram than android.

clearly chrome has a higher market share than safari. imo apple is just trying to make more and more money (which is bad) from preventing 3rd parties from repairing, but they themselves repairing it = more money. they also do offer trade-in which you can do, so that your old iPhone is recycled and you get a new one for a lesser price.

not as a browser company, and recycling should only really be a last resort. i've seen the bad things that they've done and especially as someone who develops games i don't want to step anywhere near their ecosystem.
