I’ve noticed illegal advertising for extensions.
We didn't mention you-know-what (the forbidden one)…
All browser extensions are forbidden on Scratch.
Well, now I feel guilty.

Why I don't use Chrome:
  1. Browser-based ad personalisation
  2. Manifest V3
  3. All cookies/trackers allowed by default
  4. No ‘Page Info’ (Ctrl+I in Firefox)
  5. High RAM usage
  6. Closed-source
  7. Monopolistic

I'd rather give up using the Internet than use this browser.

Nope, Chromium (the browser Google Chrome is based upon) is open source.
Oh wait, do you mean Google Chrome as a program?

Firefox isn't any better on this either. I'm just going to cite this from somebody from the TBGF:

… And with most browsers being Google Chrome or based on Google Chrome (including Microsoft's Edge), it seems that a certain other software titan may have gotten the same grip on the Internet that Microsoft once wanted so desperately. I think I trust Google a smidge more than Microsoft, but not by much. And Mozilla? Controlled opposition and a scummy company. But hey, I'm still gonna use their browser, because the customization is kinda cool (even if they keep insisting on removing user control for the sake of “safety”).
(tbh that guy is biased against Mozilla IIRC, but still a point to consider)

I don't like that Mozilla keep removing features from Settings, but these features are available in about:config. How is Mozilla a ‘scummy company’?

Chrome is like firefox but it crashes more often, and is slower. Firefox is Free, and Open source. Also I don't like Big Tech Companies spying on me. (That's why I use Fedora, sometimes.)

Safari and Firefox have better privacy. I use chrome too, but not as much as Safari and Firefox.
