I think you should be able to change whether a sprite can loop through one edge of the window to the other side. You would open up the sprite properties and select if you only want it to loop vertically, horizontally, or both.

You can do that by sensing when it's x/y gets greater/less than a certain amount and setting it to the appropriate amount.

Scratch is about programming, not making games, even though games are a result of programming.
