Would you like to make your own buildings? Go to this project, and simply read inside. Once done, you can press the 8 key to access all models. I'll tell you the model ID once uploaded.

This game only works on PC currently. Maybe I will make a mobile version.

The 1.3 update is in the works! Lot's planned. Stay tuned.

HOWEVER,

A sequel is coming. I am announcing this now. I expect this to take a long time to fully come out, probably a few months. i may or may not release progress updates. expect development of scratchcity to slow down. i might release occasional sprite changes or bug fixes or whatever, but no large content additions are expected.

1.3.2 is out now!

New features:

-Improved citizen system
Now, the citizen panel will display things sent in by citizens. This could include petitions, emails, letters, and other mediums.
-Loans
Loans have been added. Beta features need to be enabled for loans to be accessed.
-Music changes
The in-game music has been changed, which has reduced the game's file size by a large amount. This means quicker loading times and less lag.
-New buildings, sprites
A new building, the airfield. Good for industrial and commercial sectors.
Several sprites have been updated.
-Tax modifier changes
Now, each zone has their own happiness. This can be changed over time. Tax modifier multiplies total income from that zone.
-Ordinances
Improve your city in many different ways. Cost is fluid.

Development so far includes UI, zones, and a few other things. This game will be TILE BASED (unlike the first ScratchCity). If you have suggestions or questions, feel free to ask

Might not be coming out for a while. progress has stalled. will come out eventually, but the date given of 1-6 weeks is false, and may be somewhere between 4-15 weeks.

Announcement

I am now ceasing development of ScratchCity and ScratchCity 2. It has been a great experience. If you have any suggestions, feel free to suggest them, so maybe others can add it to the game for you. Or, maybe one day I'll get back to development. Until then, see you all later.

I am working on ScratchCity more and more. Don't expect many new versions and too much more content, but I am always going to be fixing some sprites and bugs.
