If one goes by the venerable “don't do anything you wouldn't find in a Disney movie” rule-of-thumb, a small amount of non-gratuitous blood is allowable (though potentially NFE). Sleeping Beauty, Beauty and the Beast, and recently Tangled (I'm sure there are more examples, but those are the ones I thought of off the top of my head) depict blood from injuries, but they are certainly not gory in the way they go about it.
