Every time I try to add a thumbnail to a studio I made, it shows up just fine at first but when I reload the page, it reverts to the default thumbnail. If possible, help?

My browser / operating system: ChromeOS 13982.88.0, Chrome 92.0.4515.162, No Flash version detected

It's like it turns to Scratch cat? It is also happening to me.

Is the thumbnail a GIF with a single frame? They don't work for pfps or studio thumbnails for some reason

Try saving the project as an .sb3 file on your computer and importing it into a new project with all the “Instructions” & “Notes & Credits” details if you added anything to them. If that doesn't fix it, then try it again on a new blank project.

this is a studio problem, not a project problem

Update: Everything's disappearing now. Not just studio thumbnails, but project thumbnails and my profile picture, too.

Same things happening w me every time I reload it disappears AND MY BROS PFP REFUSES TO LOAD

It's happening to a lot of people right now, because the Scratch Team is making updates. Refer to this stickie for more info.

Yeah, I saw these years ago, but now they're really awful (especially is you want to find a project or worked hard on a thumbnail) PLEASE FIX THIS SCRATCH!

Seems to replicate for me; cdn2 just keeps going down, and it's been happening for months. I just can't put my finger on it…
In fact, it doesn't seem to happen on the 2.0 parts of the website. Only the studio page seems to affect it.

Dude. Are you using iPad 4? Did you remember to turn off automatic updates unlike me? Anyway, they might have to update it again.

same, Im changing my profile up a bit, and I just don't want my profile to just be all sc.
