https://scratch.mit.edu/site-api/comments/with-deleted/user/griffpatch/?page=1What's weird is that if you get rid of the “/with-deleted/” part, it actually returns a bare-bones HTML version of the comments page, so I think /with-deleted/ is just an ST-only version

Every time you open a profile, Scratch loads this “bare-bones HTML version” of the comments and inserts it into the page. The “with-deleted” version is what's used when a profile is viewed by an admin. I think the reason why that's a separate endpoint instead of returning different data from the same URL based on the user's status is that it allows the response to be cached.https://scratch.mit.edu/site-api/comments/with-deleted/user/griffpatch/?page=1What's weird is that if you get rid of the “/with-deleted/” part, it actually returns a bare-bones HTML version of the comments page, so I think /with-deleted/ is just an ST-only version

The problem is that for browsers that don't natively support .pdf files (i.e - literally any other browser except desktop Chrome / Chromium & forks and desktop Firefox), it would download and ask you to open it in another .pdf reader app.(#867)Petition for the ST to make this the default community guidelines page

With that being said, I wouldn't mind a .pdf to .html conversion.

A few years ago, the ST made a concept for a redesign of the Community Guidelines page that includes these illustrations. The problem is that for browsers that don't natively support .pdf files (i.e - literally any other browser except desktop Chrome / Chromium & forks and desktop Firefox), it would download and ask you to open it in another .pdf reader app. Petition for the ST to make this the default community guidelines page

I'm on Safari (on iPadOS) and it's loading fine, not asking me to download it.The problem is that for browsers that don't natively support .pdf files (i.e - literally any other browser except desktop Chrome / Chromium & forks and desktop Firefox), it would download and ask you to open it in another .pdf reader app.(#867)Petition for the ST to make this the default community guidelines page

Edit: after a quick search, all modern desktop browsers support viewing PDF files on them. The issue would be Android browsers, which for the most part don't.
what is it with Android browsers and not supporting half of all web tech

Also https://scratch.mit.edu/accounts/login/?next=/mystuff/ which at least used to show an (relatively unstyled) login page that, once signed in, redirected you to My Stuff.
Now, it just redirects you to the homepage after logging in, and redirects to the homepage for anyone signed in.

Apparently this exists:
https://scratch.mit.edu/vpn_required/
IDK what VPN they're using, but its probably forwarding to a private server to prevent hackers from going into the scratch admin pages and literally destroying Scratch.

Has this been posted before?

Additionally, I know that these also exist (although it's impossible to prove with just the URLs alone (I know these because they're linked from the admin panel on the main page, which I accessed with some client-side trickery. I have NOT hacked the site, and I cannot access any info from there.) )

Edit: just found https://scratch.mit.edu/scratch_admin/page/clear-anon-cache/
What is this “client-side trickery”?
Is it viewing source? Different user agent? Different request parameters??
I wanna try!!!!
