The beginning of scratch. Versions of Scratch. Oop I didn’t mean to post sorry

Hey guys, So today we will be talking about Scratch 1.0! I mostly read this on the Scratch Wiki.

Features
Scratch 1.0 was released in May, 17, 2007 and that was the first public version of scratch, there were no previous versions at all. However, there’s one notable difference is the lack of cap blocks and all cap blocks in scratch 1.4 where just stack blocks in 1.0. All sound from 1.0 are static when loaded with Scratch 2.0 and Scratch 3.0 when sounds are compressed because 1.0 uses a different file format, Than later versions..

Blocks
A total of 95 blocks in 5 shapes were in Scratch 1.0.
Motion: 16 (13 stack, 3 reporter)
Looks: 16 (15 stack, 1 reporter)
Sound: 6 (all stack)
Pen: 11 (all stack)
Control: 15 (4 hat, 6 stack, 5 C)
Sensing: 14 (1 stack, 6 reporter, 7 boolean)
Numbers: 14 (8 reporter, 6 boolean)
Variables: 3 for each variable (2 stack, 1 reporter)
Comments did not exist in this release.
These blocks can only be activated by double clicking.

Experimental Blocks
Scratch 1.0, 1.1 and 1.2 had some of the experimental blocks that could be accessed by shift clicking the “extras” menu (the 1.0 equivalent of Shift-Click-R) and choosing “show experimental blocks”.
The sound palette had some blocks to work with the ScratchMoviePlayerMorph. These where: start movie and stop movie; change seconds by (1) (hold on againnnnnnn)
