Help with LEGO NXT on a Chromebook

I recently got a LEGO NXT, but it doesn't appear the software is supported on my Chromebook. LEGO support says that the EV3 software supports NXT, but I don't know how to get that and if it'll work. There's also an app called “EV3 Classroom”. Does it count as EV3 software?

To scroll through a signature, highlight some text in the signature, then use:

((shift) + (up/down arrow))

To add a signature, go to the bottom of Discussion Home and click “Change your signature.”

I had a bigger signature, but it was eaten by an Evil Kumquat.

This is my forum signature! On a forum post, it is okay for Scratchers to advertise in their forum signature. The signature is the stuff that shows up below the horizontal line on the post. It will show up on every post I make.
