I've made this new scrolling platformer engine for everyone to use. It's simple to use it to create your very own scrolling platformer game! What I did was I followed griffpatch's scrolling platformer tutorial and looked for ways to improve it and add additional features. That does mean that I use a bit of his code, but most of the code was originally written by me. Here's the link to the project.

This engine includes the basic controls with some added features:

• Smooth movement up AND down slopes
  
• Double jump mechanic
  
• Wall jump mechanic
  
• Ability to slide the player along the bottom of platforms AND slopes
  
• Working, lag-free, mobile joystick
  

This engine also includes easy-to-edit scripts that explain what most everything does and how you can change the scripts to tailor to your needs. You will have to add your own levels, level endings, and collectibles if you want them; I've just covered what is necessary for the player to move around the stage.

Can I use this?
Of course! That is the main reason that I made this! All that I require is that you credit me. Also feel free to leave links to the projects that you made using the Kontrol Engine, I would love to see them

Do I have to use everything?
Of course not, if you just want to take a look at it and see how you can add specific features into your game then that's 100% fine. I would also appreciate that you credit me in that scenario because you are using my scripts.

Also know that I would like feedback on what you guys want in terms of features. I will be more than happy to work on implementing new features into the game.Also, if you notice any bugs, make sure to let me know, I want to keep the Kontrol Engine bug-free if I can. Also feel free to ask any questions about the Kontrol Engine, it is a little more advanced compared to griffpatch's script so you may need to ask some questions.

This is a VERY good project. But there is still the ceiling sticking bug. Other than that, this is pretty good.
