Because of the new studio update, People can NO LONGER USE Studios when they're muted. What… is the point of this? Are you trying to make a point for curators and managers to exist? Imagine adding a project that didn't fit the studio and later you get muted. Now you go back to the studio and you can't remove or add projects. That means people will leave bad comments on your studio. Stop treating studios like comment text fields! They're NOT Comments.

No support, if someone was muted, they could edit their studios or add projects to their studios that shows that they are muted. Similarly, they could add projects saying “I'm not muted” and then remove them when they are muted, so this would be a problem. If you don't think that's a problem, keep in mind that someone could be angry if they were muted, so they could try to do bad things to “convince” the ST to unmute them “or else”.

Personally, I don't want any comments made by people muted, as they could get upset and write inappropriate things in the title, etc. No support.

A) The tab on studios for comments is literally called “comments.”

B) The whole point of being muted is to disallow you from engaging with other users on the site. I'm not really sure if 2.0 studios still allowed comments when muted but I imagine it certainly wasn't by design if it was.

Besides, a mute is meant to prevent communication, and since studios can be used to communicate, then what's the point of not preventing users from getting around mutes?

I'm talking about comment pausing. OP might have meant something different though.

The ST might be trying to minimize the amount of communication you can do while you're muted. Preventing adding/removing projects though might be taking it too far, but IDK.

Support. Mutes are only comments and they should always be. Also, fliterbot is pretty stupid, so then you get blocked from studios for no reason.

Mutes are to prevent communication, comments just happen to be the main way, so that explains why they made it just be comments at first. I'm guessing that mutes were evaded using studios too often, so the ST changed mutes to prevent all (or most of) communication.

Large no support, it shouldn't be easy to get around mutes.
