Honestly, I think this is a great change, as the servers won't have that much trouble with comments anymore. I wish the ST good luck moving all the comments!

No idea how we are going to communicate. Well we could make projects saying what we want to say to each other but how will we know when we are trying to talk?

Hi there! Our plan is to launch this gradually over the next few months. We will start this work with profile pages on Monday, August 23rd. Profile comments will be temporarily unavailable for a few hours on that date. As we get closer to doing additional work, we will let you know. I hope this helps answer your question!

Tendremos que desactivar los comentarios temporalmente a medida que movemos los datos de los comentarios, ya que puede causar problemas para que se agreguen nuevos comentarios mientras la transferencia está en curso. Una vez que se complete la transferencia, probaremos que todo esté funcionando perfectamente y luego volveremos a activar los comentarios.

No trasladaremos todos los comentarios el mismo día: trasladaremos los comentarios en las páginas de perfil, estudios y proyectos en diferentes momentos. Cada vez que cambiemos uno de estos tipos de comentarios, verá un mensaje en esas páginas que explica que los comentarios están deshabilitados temporalmente, pero que volverán pronto. Por ejemplo, cuando estamos moviendo comentarios de las páginas de perfil, comentar en todas las páginas de perfil no estará disponible temporalmente hasta que se complete la transferencia, pero aún podrá ver y publicar comentarios en proyectos y estudios. Este proceso debería durar algunas horas para cada tipo de comentario.

¿Cuándo haremos esto?

We are starting with profile comments. Comments will only be temporarily unavailable on profile pages for a few hours on Monday, August 23rd until the transfer is complete, but you will still be able to see and post comments on projects and studios during this time.

Thanks so much for sharing this info with us! I'm wondering if this update will solve some crashing/slow-down issues with the site, or if that's an unrelated issue.
