So I've been working on this project that is basically the atari game asteroids, and it's pretty much done, except for when you break an asteroid, it's supposed to break up into 2 more asteroids that are smaller, but I'm having a really hard time implementing that. sometimes the asteroids don't spawn, sometimes way too many spawn, the collision with the spaceship doesn't work, and I can't shoot the new asteroids.
