Scratch 4.0 suggestion

I have a suggestion for scratch 4.0, which is to add a new scratch extension called physics, basically blocks that can open real physics, close them, set a physics mode, be involved/not involved with physics, set physics border, stuff like that, it would make making platformers a 1000% easier and I've already used such blocks on another coding website which is codemao, but anyways, please consider adding the physics blocks. (to the scratch team)

Scratch 4 is not coming out anytime soon. It's not like HTML5 is going to die next month. Anyway, if you're suggesting a physics extension, I believe this would be a duplicate, but I don't have the link.

I don’t think scratch really needs a physics extension - I think physics is a good thing to teach in scratch to get set up for later languages etc and you can still make physics with the current block selection. I’m worried scratch will become to easy with 1 block doing everything etc as it doesn’t really teach you how to make it in other languages without shortcuts

That is true, I'm just more used to having physics because the block actually exists, just on a different website, that I used BEFORE scratch, so I used physics blocks way longer than using blocks to code physics, you get what I mean?

Scratch 4 won't even be in beta for at least a few more years, and having a physics extension doesn't promote learning how to make your own physics engine. As mentioned in an earlier post in this topic, Scratch should not be too easy, as Scratch is meant to help you with other programming languages, and when physics can be activated with one block, you wouldn't know how to make a simple physics program in another language.

I know that, it's just I'm used to having physics blocks, and I want them to be in scratch, never said you had to agree to that, but yes, I understand what your talking about and how it might make scratch too easy, and I don't see a problem about that
