They aren't making one. The lego movie 1 was great, and making a second one would just be over-consumerism

Yeah, weird. And I KNOW, the Duplo thing, but still, that'd be just stupid.
Speaking of that, they also announced How To Train Your Dragon 3 BEFORE 2 came out! And it's coming out in 2016! (I think.)

Usually sequels are not as good as the first ones..
They better worked on some kind of lego movie, but not a sequel.

NOT everything. Remember the sister's spaceship just at the end, when Emmet says ‘Oh, man.’, and 3 aliens say that they will destroy you. THAT is probably the section that motivated the lego people to make a second Lego Movie!

Everything HASN'T BEEN RESOLVED. We just HAVE to see what the Destroying Duplos do to them. It would be “AWESOME” if they made a second one. I have literally been praying for a second one. (that was me, exaggerating ) I really do hope that they make a second one. Plus, you don't HAVE to watch it.

I heard they were actually going to make a spin-off focused on Lego Batman.
If it's more focused on the action concept and had a similar tone to the games, I'd be all up for it.
