Read the FULL OP Before Posting

Right now, there's a lot of hate and suggestions to end, delete, or revert the 3.0 Studio Update.
Some people have found out about the Suggestions Forum and then told everyone to use it to make new topics to spam about removing the update.
I thought the forums were a safe place for civilized discussion, but with inexperienced forumers spilling in, it's not safe anymore.
I've well thought out the pros and cons of this suggestion, but all are subjected down to one big reason:
The majority of people with under 100+ posts who are linking to the discussion forums at this current time are linking to it because they want to, and want other people to suggest for the studio update to be reverted
This might be pretty complicated to implement, it is understood that the forums are ran on a different software to the main page I don't know much about this whole DJangoBB (or whatever) stuff OK?

Probably because that's where the Scratch Team said to go.

I think it might be better if you do this to new scratchers, and then full scratchers can post normal links. And what’s wrong with protesting about an update they don’t like anyway

It may be spammy but it may look like the ST is getting rid of voices, which wouldn’t be a good reception. I know most of these posts are not thought out but I think censorship is a bit far.

This doesn't seem like a great idea. The moderators are there to, among other things, delete spam (which it seems like they've finally got a handle on.) I don't see a reason to censor new forumers just because of one specific case of potential spam. If you see rule-breaking posts or spam, just report it.

No support. They shouldn't have linked the suggestions forum in a post announcing a bad update in the first place.

By the time this even could be implemented, won't the blowout mostly be over?
