I think I stand for many people when I say that the new studio update isn't great. It isn't beneficial, and it definitely is confusing.
I'll list my complaints here so you don't think I'm some brainless idiot trying to downvote the ST…

1. managers can't do much.
sure, they can delete and add curators and add projects, but they're basically just curators with a different name to make them feel more important. like, people running artfight studios? now they have to manage all the points THEMSELVES. which is not fair. what's gonna happen to desc. roleplay? manager chats? down the drain.

2. NO FOLLOWERS BAR >(((((
this is probably the worst thing of all for me. see, I have a chat where I invite all my followers so we can hang out and get to know each other. and because I have 100+ (ok what tysm) followers, the followers bar made it very easy to invite them! now, I have to TYPE their usernames individually to invite them. or had… because I'm a new scratcher, I can't invite curators to my studios anymore. sigh. but really, people ain't got time to type every single one of their followers' usernames out! and some people have really long usernames that are gibberish. like, people, THIS IS A DISADVANTAGE.

3. the 25 reply limit
wish a max of 25 replies, no one can have actual convos anymore! “to avoid spam,” yeah right! I created my chat studio so I wouldn't get 20 messages a day just from profile spam. my studio made it so easy to have a meaningful convo without getting a million messages saying “'username' commented on your profile” now, no one can say what they wanna say in the best way possible. what about roleplay? or if you ask for ideas and want people to reply to your comment? it really ADDS more spam, because every time you reach 25 replies, you have to start over with a new comment string.

4. new scratchers can't create studios or invite curators
I can no longer invite people to my own studio. I have to wait to become a scratcher. this is very frustrating, as I had another (not as good) scratch account before and I know not to spam or do weird stuff. I deleted that account a while ago. can't the ST see that I've already been a scratcher? and new scratchers can't create studios either. this has its problems, as you can see.

This post is not at all trying to be disrespectful to the ST. It merely states my complaints and the complaints of others. So me and other scratchers have a request; please consider taking this update down. It doesn't help anyone.
If I get banned for saying this; for stating my opinions, I'll at least be glad that I did something to make my opinion heard.

I would have to agree with you on this one. What??? The only reason I can think of it to prevent (a) invite all studios (b)complaints about the “invite all button's” rejection.

This is probbably one of the most polite ones so far. Oh and don't forget manager limit, maximum 100 studio followers and everything is huge.

hello! just a reminder to keep your replies/quotes to this discussion respectful. these are my opinions, and I respect yours, but don't say that mine are ‘wrong’ or ‘bad’. thanks!

1. Maybe though we could add an option to let a few managers we choose have “full control”.

2. I understand why they implemented this, but I know it’s a hard hit for fan clubs right now, but I would instead let my followers ask to join if they want and then I would invite them that way.

3. The reply limit can help with performance, and I also read why they added it in their announcement topic, so I get it, but I have mixed feelings about it.

4. Yeah, I get your disappointment. Maybe they should still let new accounts create studios, but they act more like folders and don’t let you invite curators.

yeah, but I joined scratch 5 months ago and deleted my old account x3 I think ST should keep better track of things like that, as I know a lot of people who've done the same thing
