Add the "Invite followers" button back to studios!
No support. This is likely the only good thing that came from the studio update, and allow me to explain why.
Studios weren't created for sending a message to followers about your new project.
Studios were created for their themes. They were created for users to interact and connect over a mutually enjoyed theme. Using these to send unwanted messages to followers about a new project isn't exactly using studios correctly. While one could argue that a single project is the theme, that doesn't really count as one. The only projects allowed in that studio would have to be remixes for it to even remotely qualify as a theme, but that doesn't seem fair at all.
While Scratch is not about fame, when one has a small amount of followers, it's more understandable to use studios like this. But when a user has a good 7k, do they really need those 50 extra views? If users care enough about a different user's content, they'll check their profile for something new every once in a while–There's no need to send them an unwanted message.
It's spammy.
As I mentioned earlier, most users get annoyed when they recieve these messages, and if it happens after almost every single project, that's a bit of an issue.
Scratch isn't about fame.
Having a lot of followers and doing this is just, no. As if 2k favorites and 5000 views per project isn't enough. It's just showing how greedy one can be with the power to invite followers easily.
Fanclubs are just fine, maybe better off this way.
Fanclubs should be for the users who actively enjoy one's content, not for every single follower. If someone doesn't want to join a fanclub, they shouldn't recieve a spam message regardless just for following someone. It's better that the users who actually want to be part of a fanclub get invited because they ask in the comments.

Yes, I wonder this. This was already added in a browser extension I use, but I really want ST will add this feature. I 100% agree but what would it look like?, Would it be a button like this
Would it be the bar that we are used to?, Like this
Or whould it be a popup bit with your followers and the people you are following, Would it look like this
Thanks, just wondering about those things
But still 100% support as it makes it eaier to make fan studios

Add the "Invite followers" button back to studios!
Semi-Support. I agree that there should be an easier and faster way to invite followers. However, this could cause unwanted studio invites for some Scratchers following that person. Here's what could be added: Bring back the invite followers tab, but you are only allowed to invite 10 people at a time. After that, you have to wait 10-20 minutes before you can invite any more curators. That way, you can't spam invite many people at once.

Keep in mind, this isn't an invite No support. This is likely the only good thing that came from the studio update, and allow me to explain why.all followers button. If you have a lot of followers, it would take a long time to invite all of your followers.

I never said it was. I'm saying that the harder it is to send unwanted messages to followers, the better. Even though I knew from the start that this wasn't the case, this applies to either feature.-ssssnippery ssssnake-Keep in mind, this isn't an invite all followers button. Well, even though studios were meant for their themes, we need an easier way of putting people in the tsudio, otherwise it is empty.I never said it was. Well, I have a comic I'm starting, and I want my followers to know about it.
Normally with this sort of thing, I would invite them to the studio I made for and about that comic
Now that's nearly impossible, since this feature has been removed, and with this whole username thing, I would have to invite approximately 450 people following me by hand.
And it's either that or ask them on their profile, but either way is going to result in possibly unwanted messages, and if I go with profile, I have to deal with the spam-catcher
So how would you tackle it? Genuine question here, because I want to pick the option that results in less spam, but I don't know which one that would be.
That's why I liked having this feature, it was easy to use, and meant you didn't have to hop from profile to profile because you don't remember the rest of someone's username, it was a way to notify your followers all at once, and wasn't easily missed by being buried under other things unless the person you invited has literally hundreds of messages, and there was a limit. Once you invited 300 people in a certain time to a studio, there was a cooldown until you could invite any more people to any studio.

Hello Scratch team! I am quite happy with Scratch, but there are quite some problems.
For instance, studios. Please change it back to normal. People don't even get to be managers. These days, every studio has many managers, but now other people don't have permission to be managers. It's a really crappy update.
Second, I think you should allow Scratchers to change our USERNAMES. I know it's a really big request, but we start scratch as children and as we grow we feel our usernames are not good. Allow it at least 2 times.

People are all like oh you know what it's not about showing your followers like I AM NOT TALKING ALIEN LANGUAGE. The point I'm TRYING to make which no one listens to is that you DON'T need to go mentally crazy remembering everyone's usernames! Like I don't mean this disrespectfully but people before you try and object to me can you please object about the point I actually want to make?

Tbh I don't know what you should do. But I rest my case! without this invite by followers feature you don't need to go mentally insane or create spam. Also a question. They said this invite follower feature made spam easy but I thought it wouldn't send more than one invite to a person? It goes ' is already a curator of this studio' so I am very confused.

I support your ideas, I like the second ones, in which it looks the same when you browse projects. I also like the followers and following idea. (unless that was already a thing I missed all this time)
