Hi, I was creating a horror game, it's on my profile if you'd like to see it, and need to create a jump-scare. I've always had trouble with them but I can't seem to fix it. The code is if the player's flashlight is touching such sprite, it will disappear and cancel the jump-scare. I seemed to have coded it wrong and it will jump-scare you at least 4-6 seconds into the game. EVEN if you use the flashlight on it. If anyone can help me, please do. Thanks!
(Oh yes, if a jump-scare is too scary for Scratch then I'll just make it so the jump-scare is just a noise and then it ends.)

Wow, that jumpscare freaked me out way too much. I really, but REALLY doubt that amount of scareness will be appropiate for Scratch. Though you are allowed to make the jumpcare as creepy as Luigi's mansion, which could be just a small laugh with a creature you can barely see.

Well I guess it did its job. I'll try that type of jump-scare then. I'm not sure if I'll do the correct coding for it so it actually works good.
