My browser / operating system: Windows NT 10.0, Chrome 91.0.4472.114, No Flash version detected

when i change the targeted variable in the

change [ var v] by (number)

block, click on another sprite, and click on the sprite i edited again, the variable seems to have been completely unchanged

it only seems to affect projects with a lot of stuff (whether the factor is sprites, blocks or variables, i have no idea)
(if thats hard to understand, heres a video, the scripts changing is me going back and forth between sprites, focus on the “set y to 432” and “set x to -502” blocks)
