Is there any way, probably via a mod or hack, to increase the stage resolution? I'm not talking about the scaling up via the embedded player settings but an actual larger stage, probably 640x480 or 800x600. It is clear to me that this would fork the projects on the Scratch webpage (that's why I don't put this into the suggestion topic), but it would be great to provide larger projects on game sites like itch.io

Thanks for the tip. I checked the build instructions at https://github.com/LLK/scratch-flash, however, they are not very detailed.
For instance,
are these instructions for Windows or Linux (or different) - the Apache Flex installer is for Windows, but the path given in the readme is a Unix path, so indicates LInux?
Which SDK Flex should be installed (SDK Installer, SDK Sourcecode or Binary)?

Is there a step-by-step guide for compiling Scratch available?
