Scratch Cat
When I go to the Wayback Machine and type in the url of ScratchCat's profile, I found this from 2015. https://web.archive.org/web/20151201194547/https://scratch.mit.edu/users/scratchcat/ There's nothing on it. It's also a Scratcher and the account is from the UK, which differs from the current rank and location of ScratchCat. What's up what this? Was it an account the ST took over? Or was it created and just never used until 2016 recently by the ST?

As fas as I know, the Scratch Cat account was made by a person who wasn't on the Scratch Team, and when that person became inactive, Scratch Team decided to take over that account.

The account from 2015 was deleted and the username was recycled, then the ST created a new account called @ScratchCat*. They also changed the join date of it - the user id of @ScratchCat* is 15883188, which means that the account was created way later than 2007.

The API is returning funny results for that user - the WebArchive is from 2015 yet it's returning comments from 2018 that say “2 years ago.” Looks like it's mixing it with API requests from 2020.
EDIT: the “What i've been doing” is showing results for the new ScratchCat*

Ah, ok, that makes sense. Thanks!
