Scratch UI Kit
Introduction
Many different websites offer UI kits to aid designers in creating user interfaces for websites. These kits provide designers with premade assets like logos, buttons, and icons. I'm proposing that the assets used in the Scratch UI are made available to the Scratch community, because it can not only aid in the process of making projects about the website itself, but can also help users provide visual examples of suggestions that they believe would improve the Scratch website.
What would this kit include?
- The Scratch logo, as well as variations of said logo
- Common buttons found around the site, such as the “Love”, “Favorite”, “See Inside”, and “Remix” buttons
- Scratch blocks
- Other UI elements, like the site header and “What's Happening” window
Why do we need this?
There's quite a few different reasons why this might be a useful resource for Scratchers. One is the fact that it allows for more accurate projects that involve the Scratch website itself. As of now, Scratchers have to rely on screenshots and/or inaccurate redesigns of such assets to make projects. If this were added, it would make animations and tutorials much clearer. Secondly, adding a UI kit can greatly improve the clarity of suggestions made for the Scratch website, whether it be in the forums or in projects. These assets would allow for people to provide visual examples of additions to the website that they feel might be helpful.
How would it work?
A page containing PNG and SVG files, as well as other formats that may be helpful, could be linked somewhere on the site (for example, under the “Resources” column on the site footer) so that Scratchers have easy access to this resource.
This is all I have for now, sorry I couldn't make this any longer! Please let me know if you have any questions and if be happy to answer, since I know I didn't answer these very thoroughly or answer very many.
I hope you consider this suggestion!

This just seems like a large time-sink for something that isn't worth it. Frankly, half of the assets Scratch has are rarely, if ever, useful, and the ones that are would still not be used often. Hiding them away at the bottom of the page doesn't help either. Scratch blocks would be useful, but you'd literally need to construct scripts out of images to make any use out of them.
Many assets can be found on the Scratch Wiki, and the ones that aren't can easily be screenshotted, which would be superior in most cases.

And you can also use inspect element or right click to just get the direct images. This just seems like a large time-sink for something that isn't worth it. I know you can use the inspect element, and I've done it before. However, it's somewhat time-consuming and some computers, especially ones used for school, will disable the inspect option.

The thing is, because the ST created this site they probably have the files stored away somewhere so it wouldn't necessarily take very long. They would just need to make the files publicly available for download.
The Scratch blocks might not necessarily have to consist of every single one of the actual blocks as well, perhaps base assets like the shapes of the blocks themselves (hat, normal, etc.) with other things like drop-down boxes and boxes you can type in or add booleans to. My idea of the blocks' intended use would be to suggest new blocks, so the kit wouldn't have to use any actual existing blocks, but rather just base assets that allow a user to construct their own.

Do you think the ST has renditions of HTML lying around somewhere? The thing is, because the ST created this site they probably have the files stored away somewhere so it wouldn't necessarily take very long. They would just need to make the files publicly available for download.

It wouldn’t necessarily be just for the forums. SVG files are useful for if people want to use graphic design programs like Figma or Affinity. That is, if they have SVG files. I wasn’t aware that the editor was HTML5 until recently.

Oh, I wasn’t aware of that. Thanks for that! I still do think that other assets like the logo and/or remix and see inside buttons could be helpful however.
