The sole purpose of a GUI is to present the user with a list of available options for what action(s) to perform next, and do so if the user chooses to do so.Padding is the best thing since rounded corners Related to recent GUI design (not sure where to put it here)…
…why does everything…
…need padding…
…this large?
In other words, looking good isn't a bad thing for marketing, but it should come second.

How those options are presented is very important. Many visual elements aren't simply decorative – for example, if a button is rounded and has a shadow, it's easier to see that it's a button. This is true. However, extreme amounts of padding on everything is overdoing it a bit.How those options are presented is very important. I am a guy who codes weird stuff. Don’t check my GitHub only if you want stupid HTML pages (or something to host them). Check my platformer if you want to see something to see.

(#3240)padding was already a thing before rounded corners.Padding is the best thing since rounded corners Related to recent GUI design (not sure where to put it here)…
…why does everything…
…need padding…
…this large?
Fun fact: Padding was invented because mice would usually bite off the edge of a letter and make it not readable so they added spacing so if the mice ate the edges you can still read the letter
