Ok, so talking about emoji design is offtopic people. So I made a specific UI design topic for that. We shall now continue talking about Win11

(#2096)I've been using Windows 11 and absolutely love it! I have no idea why people who don't even use it hate it so much.Yeah. I was in the public beta and I didn't experience any crashes until abiut 2 weeks before the public release when it decided to go completely unresponsive more and more frequently until I couldn't open a browser or MS paint for more than a minutel so I downgraded to Windows 10 2 days before the public release. Since then I have upgraded again and haven't had any issues until last week. is win11 is really that bad?
I turned on my laptop again and ran a quick Windows Defender virus scan and everything looked OK, so I guess Microsoft must have shipped some of that broken code from the dev channel.
Insider build moment.
Anyone been using 11 long enough on a stable branch to give an opinion of it?
Because it's a product made by a corporation that spies on you. And also Windows 10 was terrible on launch.
Nobody cares about your post count.

Windows 11 was the UI redesign that I anticipated, expected, waited for, and needed for YEARS. For ages I would have to do it myself(#2096)I've been using Windows 11 and absolutely love it! I though WIndows 10 was the last generation of Windows
Microsoft said it was, but Microsoft isn't very consistent with like… anything
I feel like even my PC settings are inconsistent (I'm on windows), half the time I hit the volume key my volume changes, the other I accidentally hit a function key.

No one really cares about Windows 11 to be honest. Personally, I'm sticking with Windows 10 because I'm comfortable with it.
My friend uses Windows 11 and he doesn't seem to have a difference (He legit just got a PC, before he had school chromebook and Ipad) so I'm not sure if I'm going to let him decide whether I upgrade. The UI looks so much nicer though, I'll give it that though.
I have two questions:
Should I get the stable release?
Does Win11 support android apps finally?

I'm so confused, LegoManiac is an actual engineer for Microsoft?

No, I mean the source of the “Windows 10 is the last Windows OS” claim.

do you use the support convention? you dont need to! instead of saying “support” or “no support”, just give a constructive reason for your thoughts on the suggestion! saying “no support” can hurt new scratcher's or new forumer's feelings and make them upset. do you really want to make a scratcher sad? im pretty sure you dont. the support convention also does nothing to a suggestion. so please stop using the support convention!

If you're not sure, maybe you should to wait until the next feature update which will be released some time in the second half of the year and will be more stable, include some removed, promised and new features such as Android app support, taskbar drag and drop and a setting to adjust the number of recommendations in the start menu. The update will also fix some inconsistencies and redesign some more apps. No one really cares about Windows 11 to be honest. Personally, I'm sticking with Windows 10 because I'm comfortable with it.

yeah, still waiting for them to fix the arial bug where if you hover over an open app, the title it displays is in Arial instead of Segoe UI (And also no animation when you hover, hey even windows 10 has the hover animation)If you're not sure, maybe you should to wait until the next feature update which will be released some time in the second half of the year and will be more stable, include some removed, promised and new features such as Android app support, taskbar drag and drop and a setting to adjust the number of recommendations in the start menu. so do you like every single thing in 2021/2022 just because it originated then.I don't like 2001-2012 UI design since it being 2022.I like it better 3D-looking, it’s more original. Not everything has to follow trends to look cool. I don't like Apple's rocket emoji, it's not flat and modern enough for 2021 UI design.
and flat design…

tbh in the ATs we mainly talk about desktop OSs like linux macos and windows.. but yeah.. ipadOS does feel really good… but its like comparing apples to bananas - desktop OSs to mobile ones… nothing feels as good as IpadOS

(#20)100% True. And the worst part was the start menu.
the thing im worried about is, since they're dropping 10X, 11 will be more tablet friendly then, which i dont want because of how bad it was on Windows 8, but anyways im hyped!!
edit: windows 8 is terrible!
