Are there any options for transparent colors in Scratch? I wanted to make light.

Try using this block:

change [Ghost v] effect by (25)

And then make the costume a big sheet of colour

You can use gradients.
To get solid blocks, you can convert a gradient to bitmap and scale up a small portion, or reshape a vector gradient to be really small then scale that up.
Also, TurboWarp has an opacity slider in the paint editor.

If you are referring to color transparency, it's not available as an option in the paint editor. One workaround is to use the effects block:


Color transparency is still possible if you create the image in another paint editor and upload it to scratch.

Alternatively, create the costumes in an external image editor (software that isn't Scratch) that supports transparent colours.

Turbowarp lets you change the transparency for a color which I use a lot.
