I'm making a game where 4 players have to play online on a scrolling map. I'm pretty bad at doing things online, even though I've been following tutorials for days and looking for information on other projects for nothing.
How can I make my game a scrolling platformer?
I could reinvent another project, but my game has a specific game selection screen and it doesn't seem to work when I send the play message. Someone help me?
All 4 players must appear at the beginning of the map in a row (one in front of the other). Then a count of 3, 2, 1, go will appear
And it will be a level. There will be a finish line at the end of the level and whoever touches it first wins and a message will appear to the rest of the players (I'll take care of that). In the game the characters have different skins and specific abilities, so hopefully someone can help me. I don't know if I can post this on the forum, it's my first time …

Well I guess the best way for that is using Griffpatch method for both but the multiplayer tutorial comes first then the scrolling platformer

Tried the griffpatch one and it didn't work. Download YOUR codes and put them in. It didn't work

First, make a scrolling platformer (tutorial). You will then add other players.
