Need help making a Scratch Virtual Currency

I am currently trying to make a virtual currency like bitcoin on scratch, where every hour you get on MoonCoinTM(jk) and I am trying to make a send and receive system, and the folks at HwS told me to go to advanced topics. They also said I need to stuff with repl.it with WebSockets, and Scratch API. So can someone tell me what I need to do in simple words?
