ill have a site for the things sites do (and with a viewer that lets you see comments on projects), and an extension (or sa addon if i can) that lets you view them directly on the scratch website.

how should i host it? ive been looking at google compute engine but it's pretty expensive, although kubernetes engine gives you 1 free cluster, but i'm not sure what the limitations are. only the backend needs proper hosting, the frontend is static.
