So there should be a feature to make custom skins for Scratch. Example: Let's say I want to change the block palette and shape, I would go to the skin editor and change those things. So the Skin Editor could be like the paint editor, it brings up some Scratch assets (ex: color palette and blocks) and you could edit them with the Paint Editor or import assets. There could be a section where you can drag around elements of the website to your liking. You could then upload the skins and share them, then like projects people can see them. It will solve problems like asking for Cat Blocks because they could make a skin that adds them back in. Or stuff like asking to revert back to 2.0 or 1.0 because people could make those skins.

If this is confusing ask me to explain the parts that confuse you.

Pros:
- Stops suggestions for Dark Mode, going back to 2.0 or 1.0 and Cat blocks to return.
- Scratch doesn't allow custom themes so this would be a workaround and the ST could control whats in the themes. “cite your sources”

Cons:
I can't think of any cons.

To show how robust this could be I made a mockup of the Theme Editor, you can see it right here. THE CHAT BUBBLE ICON IS SUPPOSED TO REPRESENT A DISCUSSION FORUMS BUTTON. (yes, my art skills suck)

ScratchCatHELLO - This could be a workaround to the fact that scratch doesn't allow userstyles. This way, the ST would have control over what was in the userstyles. I think this is a good idea, but designing a good UI for making a skin would be very difficult. I think this would be difficult to implement, but it could work.

There's a browser extension which you can use to do the same, if you don't want to wait. (not naming due to the policy)

My school blocks extensions that aren't on the whitelist, since I'm most active during school (and therefore forced to use the school issued laptops with the restrictions) I can't use it when I'm most active on Scratch.

Although le extension has this option, I feel it can't really be in that area that will help teachers. Sure it can help eye strain and such eye issues, but I also feel we can both workaround this with other options.

You bring up a good point, this doesn't have education value but it could teach some people about web design.
