I got my tail beat by Ursaluna even after overleveling, because 1) I forgot to take my low-level Bidoof I was trying to evolve out of my team 2) I forgot about type matchups and 3) This dang alpha wouldn't stop throwing poison at me the whole way there.

So what did I do?
I swapped out my team, and introduced him to my alpha Floatzel who mastered Hyper Beam.
He learned what it feels like to be two-shotted.

At that point, I was kinda just cruising from 11 PM to 1 AM, and somehow made it all the way to the point of beating Arcanine without doing any catching or leveling in-between (aside from the occasional random battles and catches, plus a Dusclops).

That was fun. Time to get another star so I can actually use my other alphas lol

I finally beat mission 26, then realized the game is only going to be a grind from now on…

okay-dokay

got five shines so far. shiny golem, shiny ponyta named Nugget(will be evolving), shiny ursaring named Kai(just need a peat block), shiny chatot named Mozart, shiny tangela named Emmet(will evolve) and thats it so far
got the golem by random
ponyta by the request
rest of them by mass outbreaks and chatot from a massive mass outbreak
im also currently trying to “seek out all pokemon” but im lazy

Why does Everyone have a shiny but i dont (I have the shiny ponyta from the quest but i mean full odds)

I happened to encounter two additional ones while playing the main story… You'll find one eventually if you have enough patience. Remember to play with the volume on, too, so that you can hear the shiny sound.

I got a full team of alphas i will now say what alphas if i can remember what pokemon they are
Alpha garchomp
Alpha steelix
Alpha dusclops
I dont remember the rest

my friend in school is on the volo fight and he says it is so hard and didn't believe me when i said i beat it on my third try. honestly i just used all legionaries and an alpha garchomp
i used my regigigas to heal my members and lunar blessing is op too

It's on Spring Path. I think it's pretty rare, though. Alpha Empoleon also spawns nearby, at the Islespy Shore.

I almost beat them on my first but my last pokemon had only electirc type moves the last pokemon was GARCHOMP
