What is Princess Maker?
Princess Maker (プリンセスメーカー) is a series of life simulation games by the video game and anime production company Gainax. (from Wikipeda}
The plot of these games usually consist of the player becoming a parental figure for their daughter, who is the main character in these games.The Princess Maker games take place in places such as fantasy medieval times to a city in the modern day.

How many games are there?
There are five main-series games currently.
Princess Maker, Princess Maker 2, Princess Maker 3: Fairy Tails Come True, Princess Maker 4, and Princess Maker 5.

Where can I play these games?
PC via Steam: Princess Maker, Princess Maker 2, Princess Maker 3, Princess Maker 5 (PM and PM2 are labelled “refine” on Steam because these games are actually touched up versions of the original! There is newer art and such.)
PlayStation 2: Princess Maker, Princess Maker 2, Princess Maker 4, Princess Maker 5
MS-DOS: Princess Maker 2 (I think Princess Maker is on MS-DOS as well..? I'm not sure.)
I HIGHLY SUGGEST playing these games on Steam! They have been translated into English unlike the PS2 and MS-DOS versions. There ARE translations for the Princess Maker 2 MS-DOS version, so if you're comfortable with emulation, you can do that as well. If you can read Japanese then go ahead with the PS2 versions.

Miscellaneous info:
-The youtuber PeanutButterGamer has done reviews on Princess Maker 2 and Princess Maker 3. His reviews are pretty solid and I suggest checking them out if you have the time.
-Princess Maker 2 is generally considered the best game out of the entire series by fans.

Might as well say some trivia this time. The daughter character in Princess Maker 2 is canonically named Olive Oyl, like the Popeye character!
