Wipeout (TV Show)
Wipeout was a game show that originally aired from 2008 to 2014. Every episode 24 contestants try to conquer comical obstacle courses with the winner receiving $50,000. There are four rounds in each episode and the series lasted for seven seasons. However, the show is being rebooted starting April 1st with all new hosts and some new obstacles. The show has a British counterpart known as Total Wipeout and both shows seem to have taken inspiration from a similar Japanese TV show. Wipeout is an American television game show. It features contestants competing in (what was billed as) the “World's Largest” obstacle course which originally aired on ABC from June 24, 2008 to September 7, 2014. In 2020, it was announced that the show was being rebooted on TBS, with John Cena, Nicole Byer, and Camille Kostek as hosts.
Here are some clips from the original Wipeout game show.
This show was wildly popular when it was first aired and was a big part of my childhood. I'm eagerly awaiting the day of the reboot so I can relive it.

Wipeout (TV Show)
I remember owning multiple Wipeout games when I was younger. I got one for the Nintendo DS and one for the Wii, and my brother and I still play the Wii game sometimes. Looking back, they made a lot of Wipeout video games.
