(#344)Oh. So VSCoduim is just the compiled version of the VSCode repository, right.(#343)Microsoft adds some telemetry and things on top of that, so the version you install from the official site is not actually open source.(#339)I think VSCode is open-source in the first place.

pycharm is not very good because it takes up 2 GB of RAM and has a bunch of unneccesary programming features

Languages: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, sometimes Java or Python
IDE: depends on OS, I usually use whatever is installed on it by default or, failing that, VSCode (because while it's not a great IDE itself, it does have good support for multiple languages).

Vscode for bigger projects, Python's IDLE for single file Python scripts, notepad for single file anything else.
However, I use GNU Nano for anything on my Raspberry pis or Linux vms.

Thonny for Python, whatever editor the server I'm working on has, and VSCode for everything else.
