We need to change the follower button to friend request button, because: Scratch have becoming more toxic than ever. And we need to stop it before it's too late! a few years ago, Scratch was about coding and having fun! But now… there's f4f, advertising, spam, mass reporting, bullying etc! fame still exists without followers. also, the point of followers is to get notified when someone does a thing, and this would get rid of that useful feature.

No support. I do NOT want to have to accept every single follow. Imagine how painful that would be for famous scratchers like griffpatch.

What's wrong with it?

I support, people have started coming to Scratch for followers, and not considering that they are just being greedy, I think “Friends” would be much better because it doesn't show popularity, and people shouldn't be competing about who pressed a stupid button
