The invite all button. So many people want it, but it is rejected as it could be misused for spam:

5.2 “Invite all followers” button for studios
This feature existed in Scratch 2.0, but it was an extremely easy way for one user to create lots of notification spam for other users, most of which was unwanted. By removing this feature, users are forced to work a little bit to invite a large number of users.

But a possible solution for this would that this button can only be used 1 time every 30 days to prevent spam.
New scratchers can not use this at all as it may be misused.

Pros:
It solves the issue with spam
Easier to invite everyone (obvs)


Do you think this is a workaround? Or is this completely rejected?

Cons
Will people just wait the cooldown and do it straight away?
People can have alt accounts and use that to get past the cooldown

Support because of the pros you wrote

hmm… Who would wait up to a month to just abuse something like that?

Semi-Support if its something thats monthly, why would you need to invite all your followers to a studio every week? As far as I know, the only uses for this are

• Polls
  
• Moving Accounts Alert
  
• Q & A thingy (like what Red did for 300 followers)

Now that I think about it, the chances of the alt having the same followers as the main is unlikely.


Then again, what if their following multiple users and all of the users they are following invite all their followers to a studio. The chance of this happening at the same time is not likely, but is possible. That would spam the users mail.

This doesn't really sound like all that much of a workaround. Sure it would prevent people from totally going overboard and sending them constantly, but it still doesn't address the whole “send unwarranted messages to hundreds of people with the click of a single button” thing.

Cause I want that button. But I agree with NotDucki_, it should come with being able to turn off invites.

Well, the alternate accounts won't have so many followers as the normal account, so in that case, it will prevent some spam.


I think that it could still be used for spam. But what if you mistakenly invite all? It's easier to say to someone that you mistakenly invited them, but to say to all will be harder. Semi-support, it could be useful for contests and so, but you could still spam.
