Please Collaborate with SEGA for Sonic's 30th anniversary.
You probably heard of Sonic's 30th anniversary.
I believe SEGA should Collab with the Scratch Team to celebrate that anniversary!
Q&A
Why would SEGA do that?
Because they love fan content including fan games, and Scratch let's scratchers code games.
I believe SEGA would be the right game company to Collab with Scratch.
It would also welcome more people to the scratch website, and have more scratchers aware of sonic and help more people code fan games for the sonic francise.
What content should they add?
They should add Sonic Sprites, Sounds, and backdrops.
SEGA should make 2 accounts.
One being the general SEGA account.
Another being a sonic account.
I have plans for the sonic games as well but i don't think i should talk about them here.

No support, I don't feel like this is really in the best interest of either company. I don't feel like Scratch should do crossovers with companies at all, but I don't really feel like Sega would even be interested in this.

It would be a easier way to have fans make fan games which would be very efficient for them, and more people would make fan games.says thenintendofan2020Traitor
Also, Scratch did a power puff girls crossover with cartoon network.

You probably heard of Sonic's 30th anniversary.I'm sorry but its not that easy. You can't just say “HEY SEGA? WANNA COLLABERATE ON SOMETHING!!!” It may work possibly however.

How might this be beneficial for those who have no interest in Sonic?

How might this be beneficial for those who have no interest in Sonic? If they haven't heard of sonic, they might like sonic, when they meet him.
If they don't have any interest in sonic, and they heard of them, but they want to use a hedgehog that looks more cartoony or cooler, and don't know how to draw one, the sonic sprite might help as they only have a realistic hedgehog in the sprite library. If they want to make a video game, and find sounds for jump, and collect, but they don't want the “8 bit” sounds, they can use the sonic sounds.

i guess so, i love sonic now because of sonic boom. but semi support, if Scratch can collaborate with CN, why not SEGA?How might this be beneficial for those who have no interest in Sonic? If they haven't heard of sonic, they might like sonic, when they meet him.
but I don't really feel like Sega would even be interested in this.

How might this be beneficial for those who have no interest in Sonic?Furthermore, what does SEGA gain from this? They aren't affiliated with Scratch in any capacity (unlike Cartoon Network, as the former president is a board member) and won't get any financial gain, so they only get publicity, which isn't very helpful when pretty much everyone knows what a Sonic is.

No support. Why would they partner with a children's coding sit. Even if they did nothing would happen. If the ST didn't do anything special at Christmas what makes you think they will do it for this minor even.

Low support.
As was already said, you can't just say “Hey SEGA!!!! Wanna collab?!?!” and expect everything to work out fine.
It goes without saying that you'd also have to see what SEGA think about it themselves.
I also just don't really see how this would benefit either side.

No support, it has no educational benefits, and would not help people with code.

No support, it has no educational benefits, and would not help people with code. This is a pretty weak argument. What educational benefits did the CN collaboration have? Besides, assuming the Scratch Team follows through with this suggestion, I doubt we'll know all the details of the collaboration until it comes around.

No support, it has no educational benefits, and would not help people with code. There can be a sonics physics tutorial, in their YouTube or scratch news.
Also, Sonic's schoolhouse is a education game with sonic, so if they start making fan games for that game, it might actually educate them.

Not a way to retaliate. Sonic's Schoolhouse is one of the ways to learn, but it's just a kiddie version of education. Also, the curriculum is very outdated. I care about genuine education than those kiddie sites. No support, it has no educational benefits, and would not help people with code. There can be a sonics physics tutorial, in their YouTube or scratch news.

They gain a Scratch cat to use in their games, and 2 accounts. How might this be beneficial for those who have no interest in Sonic?Furthermore, what does SEGA gain from this? It would be hard to do it, especially when a joint venture has to be conducted. Also, remember that you never know how had someone's job is until you DO IT YOURSELF.They gain a Scratch cat to use in their games, and 2 accounts. How might this be beneficial for those who have no interest in Sonic?Furthermore, what does SEGA gain from this? My support for this is lowering by the minute. There doesn't seem to be any benefits for either side. Scratch would get, what, “Exposure?” “New Members?” While SEGA would just get fan art. I don't know about you, but this doesn't seem like a very good deal to me.
