Linux scratch 1.4 sound not working (NOT FIXED)

im using linux scratch 1.4 and it doesnt seem to play any sound. i updated everything, and it doesnt work. i tested the drums notes and sound files and nothing plays any sound. i cant find anything on how to fix it.

HELP ME IT STOPPED WORKING AGAIN AFTER I OPENED AND CLOSED IT
