3 forum tips for experienced forumers (in no particular order):

If you are reporting a new forumer's topic to be closed, or moved to another forum, don't mention it, because then, the topic creator will think they will receive either an alert or a ban.
New forumers won't immediately know the rules or terminology of the forums. I have seen this happen hundreds of times (exaggeratedly), especially when experienced forumers (I won't name any) tell new forumers that they are "necroposting", which is when someone posts on an old and resolved topic (especially in the Questions about Scratch forum), causing said topic to be moved to the front page of that forum.

Using Scratchblocks as a writing style is not blockspam, unless it is irrelevant to the discussion. For example, this

Half support and half do not support. This block could be useful for some projects because they don't need few or a lot of

(letter () of [world])

blocks. It could also be useful for some scripts like this example:

when green flag clicked
forever
if <[( letters (1) to (5) of (answer)] = [Happy]> then
switch costume to [Happy v]
else
switch costume to [Normal v]
end

But I do not support because it can be replaced by using the following code

set [report v] to []
set [count v] to (first letter)
repeat until <(count) = ((last letter) + (1))>
set [report v] to (join (report) (letter (count) of (text)))
change [count v] by (1)
end

If I was trying to find letters 3-5 of “apple”, would it report a string (“ple”), or as a list with individual letters?
