That's it, that's the post.
Sonic X-Treme looks like an uninteresting Engine test/Tech Demo for the Sega Saturn

You can tell that they were on an underpowered machine by making Sonic a 2D Gif
I mean, yeah I guess.
But in STI's defense, there's not really a lot of ways of making sonic's model look high quality on a low poly engine, or at least there weren't at that time.
The Project Condor model from the very late part of Xtreme's development literally exist. There also was the Christmas Nights one at that time which looked like Sonic should look like.
OH YEAAHHH
I honestly forgot that model even existed.

Hi there, the name's Robo.
I like Super Mario (and SMG4 because of that,) D&B, FNF (semi-former community member), Sonic, Mandela Catalogue, Moral Orel, Omori, and probably more I can't be bothered to fit in here.

It seems today
That all you see
Is violence in movies and Gex on TV

But where are those good old fashion values
On which we used to rely!
Lucky, there's a Family Guy!
Lucky there's a man who,
positively can do,
All the things that make us

Laugh and cry!

He's a Family Guy!

In this video you can see the beta designs of SMB1 Mario and Luigi, and even at one point the entire original layout of 1-1.

It's possible that's just some random level they threw together for that and not actually 1-1.

This could be true, although it does have some similar design aspects.

DISTRUST was a cancelled PSP game later retooled into Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc, and Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward.
What's interesting is that the game would work with a TRUST/DISTRUST system, where depending on your actions, you could escape the game with a different cast each time. The game was actually cancelled due to how dark it was, as the level of brutality, combined with being for the PSP, a flop of a console, make the game highly unlikely to make back the money put into it, not to mention how hard it'd be to make sequels.
Some character designs were different (ex: Monokuma, instead of a teddy bear, was one of those anatomy dolls where half of it has skin and the other half doesn't), apparently downloadable scenes were intended as free DLC (ex: a pool scene), and, as mentioned earlier, was intended to be MUCH more dark and brutal, with a warehouse setting, a seven-day time limit, and red blood.
-snip(don'tsaydistrustundertaledon'tsaydistrustundertale)-
well they had mortal kombat and god of war on the psp so i don't think the “level of brutality” would've been a problem
They thought that having a gory game on an already poor-selling console would push their audience away, not even selling in the US
But yeah, you raise a point

Yeah. It's probably 1-1, but there is a chance that it's just a test level.

I'm back with more Ben 10 prototypes! Yup, you heard that right! The show that apparently nobody but me cares about anymore! Anyways, concept art:
Upgrade:
Almost the same. But the green lines are grey.

Cannonbolt:
Very different. It used to be more insect like.

Now comes the one that went through major changes.
Upchuck:
Upchuck went to multiple changes, and through those changes they made three canon aliens from the development of one. I mean, in the concept art, you can also see that 2 of upchuck's original designs are the current designs for spitter and arctiguana.

Blitzwolfer/Benwolf:
The changes in this one may not be major, since all of them were based on wolves, but there were a lot of changes.

Eye Guy:
Eye Guy went to major changes as well. And a lot of major changes.

That's all I have for today. I know cubeupload is blocked and stuff, but I can't really do anything about it.
Also, sorry that most images are low resolution, that's because I screenshotted them.

Also I found all of these on the Ben 10 wiki.

Just realised why they weren't gonna release it with all the gore
While yes, games like Mortal Kombat released on the PSP, you do need to remember that Mortal Kombat has been banned in Japan due to the level of brutality shown in it, hence why Distrust would most likely underperform if released with all the gore intact.

I'm confused. What is the context of the video? What does it have to do with Famicom/Famicom Disk System?

Please ignore any posts I made prior to September 2024, I was young and ignorant then.

Basically in the 80s Nintendo of Japan had these machines set up where you could overwrite your Famicom disk for another game.

Kirby Super Star was planned to have a survival horror game in the place of Megaton Punch. The story was that Kirby chased a butterfly into a haunted forest and then got lost inside a haunted mansion. He would have to then escape the mansion, while under the influence of a curse that sealed his mouth shut. Because he couldn't eat anything, such as enemies or food, he would have to gain copy abilities by other means. According to a concept script, the curse was put in place on Kirby by a sentient clock that belonged to a long-dead wizard who lived in the mansion, and Kirby would have to destroy the clock to break the curse. According to the game's page on fandom.com - https://kirby.fandom.com/wiki/Kagero_Mansion - the clock was probably adapted into Galactic Nova and the mechanics into Volcano Valley 6 in Kirby Mass Attack and Dark Manor in Kirby's Epic Yarn. In this YouTube video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PkeETXCSn5M - Masahiro Sakurai talks about the forgotten game and reveals a single piece of concept art - a candle, which Kirby would have used to unlock the Fire ability. The rest remains a mystery for now.

I can't find much information on this game series, other than the series ended with 6.0 and it was popular pre-2010

The MicroType series of keyboarding educational games I only know about from a program that happened to be on a school computer, MicroType 3.0, which has some files that have not been modified since 2002. It even has that rough dithered look common amongst 90's programs for each image.

If you choose/want to, give me some internets here, I won't ask or beg you:
