Also: The Cutting Room Floor is a good Wiki for these things, there are multiple articles that are about games and their unused features. You can link some pages from there, as long the link doesn't include something inapp for Scratch (but I still don't suggest that, do this >>>>). Or just quote the sentences, which is better.

The Nightmare Before Christmas had a lot of deleted scenes.
Oogie Boogie was originally going to be Dr. Finkelstein in disguise.
Oogie Boogie had a 17-second long shadow dance scene in his song. It was cut for time purposes (but it's only 17 seconds, what the heck Disney!).
Lock, Shock and Barrel had another scene that was already animated. It was also cut for time.
Jack Skellington had a lot more animated experiments, but it was also cut for time purposes.
There was a whole verse for Making Christmas that had to be trimmed, AGAIN for time purposes.
Oogie Boogie's Song also had a whole verse that was removed, but because it would be too hard for all the dancing bugs in a song.
Originally, Jack would trip over his own gravestone when he came back to Halloween Town when his friends thought he was dead.
There was an idea that Jack and Oogie Boogie would fight with maces.
In the Finale, the vampires would use Tim Burton's head for hockey instead of a pumpkin. It was changed for being too scary.
There were many deleted scenes in Sally's Song and Making Christmas.
And the most absurd of all of them, is the alternate final battle between Oogie Boogie and Jack. It had Oogie Boogie's bugs swarming out to confront Jack.

Same..we did find the canceled MOTHER translation, so maybe EB64 isn't too far off, although I did say a similar thing about the Sonic 1 TTS build when we found the Sonic 1 prototype (wait…how long ago was that??!!)
