Yes, you can use Turbowarp which is a Scratch modification that makes Scratch run faster. But that isn't because it had less glitches or errors – it uses a completely different method to run projects which is faster but it means you can't modify code while it runs.

Turbowarp never seems to run any faster for me. I don't know what that means about my computer but it doesn't sound good.

Try running this benchmark in Scratch and TurboWarp and compare the scores.

If there was, we couldn't share it because the ST doesn't allow extension names to be shared for fear of malware.

I did the first one and got 12 in Scratch and 545 in TurboWarp 0_0

I've still never noticed an actual difference while playing projects though. I haven't used TurboWarp that much honestly, maybe only a few times

Edit: In case you're wondering, I'm running this on a laptop I got for Christmas in 2016. My brother got a new laptop somewhat recently and I am super jealous of him lol

The difference is only noticeable if the project is laggy without TurboWarp.

That's what I mean. I try it on laggy projects and it makes no difference.

It's possible that it has something to do with your laptop…
