theres lots of bot accsI have a spare Raspberry Pi, but I have a question: how will you link it to the scratch cloud variables? Isn't that against Scratch's terms of service (I think) ? I have an idea…
Im working on something called Clowdy, which works similar to a server. The only thing is that for it to be active 24/7 someone needs to be running it 24 hours a day

Have the Server run the project in a “Server Mode”, where it stores data sent to it (via cloud variables) in a list and sends data back (via cloud variables) when data is requested. Extra: this page has the answer!

Ok, that's a good idea. I'm thinking there might be an issue with this: What if the Raspberry Pi overheats? I'm thinking of buying a cooling fan to tackle that.I have a spare Raspberry Pi, but I have a question: how will you link it to the scratch cloud variables? Isn't that against Scratch's terms of service (I think) ? I have an idea…

“Im not going to join” I am not going to join the collab, but here is an idea that I have tested and I know works in scratch 3:
If you have an extra computer lying around (A cheap raspberry pi 4 2GB will do), you can have it run the project continually in a “server mode”. A project in “client mode” send events over the cloud variables, and the server responds with data, possibly in steps. More after lunch
lol

After a light heart attack because I thought my Raspberry pi was dead (I haven't booted it up for a while) I found it it ran Scratch kind of… slowly… do you have any solutions for that?

It doesn't matter. It still works fine because it won't take too many inputs or draw any graphics if it is a well-made server mode. AAAND I found a python module that can interact with scratch cloud variables (Or even be used to make a custom scratch IDE) called scratchclient so we can interact with cloud variables in a python3 program and save data in a permanent .txt file on the server. Python3 runs pretty fast on a pi, even if it is a lowly 3.
