Cloud variables? You can use them actively after you become a scratcher! In order to be a scratcher, you have to share at least 2 projects and regularly be active, like loving projects and posting on forums - this forum is a great start! Also, have a verified email. If you fulfil these requirements, you’ll get a message from the scratch team about being a scratcher, and then you can use clouds. It took me 2 weeks, but normally you have to wait around a month.
