If you used old browsers, such as Internet Explorer, Vivaldi, Opera, or Silk, you will get an error with the heading, “This browser is not supported”
Users who use those browsers can just do Scratch 2.0 or Scrach 1.4 instead

I'm not totally sure, but like mentioned, the system that gives “Invites” for New Scratchers to become Scratchers seems to be broken currently. I don't know why, though.

That's because he made those studios before the July 2021 studio update when new scratchers used to be able to create studios. New Scratchers can no longer make studios because of the update.

There's actually Scratch 1.0, 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3 before there was 1.4 (May 2009).
Also there were 2.0 alpha, and 2.0 beta before 2.0 was released (May 2013).
Then there was a 3.0 beta before 3.0 was released (Jan 2019).
