How To Turn A Scratch Project Into A GIF
So how do we turn a Scratch project into a GIF??? I've seen some Scratchers do it but I just don't know how… I even searched on the internet for some tips but I can't find any useful sources. Any answer for that?

create a sort of bad animation, then take photos of each frame, then, go to a gif maker website then upload the images, do some editing if you want, and you have it

User @World_Languages simplified animated thumbnails quite a bit.I think they want to make a project into a gif, not make the thumbnail a gif.
1. Go here
2. Drag the link into your bookmarks bar
3. Click it in a Scratch project
4. Upload a GIF of your choice
You'd have to record the project then convert it.

If you're going to use a screen recorder, please use OBS. It's like the only free screen recorder that isn't less than mediocre or brands your forehead with the disdain that is the watermark.

As well, if you have Microsoft office 2013 and up, there is a nifty built in screen recorder. I've only used it once myself and I can't remember how high the quality was.
This is not on the online versions as far as I know.

I don't think that's true except for when playing a game, but either way, OBS has more customization and stuff, ∴ better.I believe Windows 10 also has this feature,If you're going to use a screen recorder, please use OBS.
