Here is what I have so far:
SCENE 1:
[We see a very aesthetic shot of futuristic NYC, and then
in the corner, it says 4500.
New York City. We then see LORA walk into her apartment
and takes off her coat]
LORA: Sis~! I'm home~!

Ciana: I was so worried! Are you ok?
Lora: Yeah, I'm fine.
[Transition to another apartment across the street, where we
see MILA Running down stairs, and just leaving, not saying
anything. She walks over to MARIA'S]
Mila: Hey Maria.
Maria: Hey girl! Gimmie 5~!
[Transition over to down the street and around the corner
to Wyatt's house, where Wyatt is reading a book, and gets
a fingercut]
Wyatt: Ouch~! LUKAS~? Are we out of bandaids?

Lukas: Yeah, we are.
Wyatt: Ok. I need to run to the store and get *gulp* some.
Get a flashlight. We're bringing you to Maria's.
Lukas: Fine.
[Transition to Wisteria's house. She's combing her hair, and
reaches over for some condicioner. (I CANT SPELL, OK?)
Wisteria: Rhea, We're out of Leave-In. I'm gonna go get
some.

SCENE two.
[We are at a grocery store [A futuristic wholefoods,
where WISTERIA and WYATT Are walking in the
self-care aisle. They are walking on the same side,
and bump into eachother]
Wyatt: *Screams and goes to get his hand sanitizer]
Wisteria: Oh! I'm sorry. Waitt…
[Transition to LUKAS ringing the doorbell to MARIA'S
apartment. MARIA opens the door]
Maria: Are you Wyatt's brother?
Lukas: How did you know~?
Maria: He… texted me. COME HERE YOU~!

Mila: Maria, are you tourturing the Wilson's again?
[Transition To LORA'S house, where she's trying to climb
out a window]
LORA: I promised I meet up with Mila in 10 minutes!
*Lora recives a text from Mila*
Mila : Hey, change of plans. We are meeting at
Maria's house.

Scene 3:
[Wisteria and Wyatt are walking out of the store, in the same
direction]
Wisteria: Umm, so… Do you have a brother?
Wyatt: Sure… I am actually going to go pick him up now..
Wisteria: I'm going to my friends right nowm actually…
Wyatt: cool,?
[Transition to Lora, who's running to Maria's house, when Wyatt and Wisteria turn the corner. When they get there,
Lora rings the doorbell]
Maria: UGHHHHHH… I'll get i-
[Mila puts her hand on her head and screams quietly.
A flash of black and white clip go across the screen]
Mila: It's Lora, Wisteria, And Wyatt~

Maria *whispers* Show-off
Wyatt and Wisteria stare at eachother
Both: Wait.. YOU MEANT HERE!?
Lora: *Laugh* This is awkward
*Theme song*
fade in from the theme song to show the squad, all present, sitting together.

MARIA: Wait, wait, let me get this straight. Through some trick of fate, you ALL ended up needing to be at my house?

WISTERIA: Oh, I guess so! What with the babysitting and the friendship, and me running into this… guy, at the store…

MARIA: Ah, that’s just Wyatt. Wyatt, this is Wisteria. If she doesn’t scare you, like everything, I think you guys’ll be friends.

WYATT: Hey, now! I am NOT scared of everything!

LORA : Boo.

WYATT: AH! You can’t sneak up on me like that!

MILA: She was literally sitting right next to you?

General clamor as WYATT is incredulous and everyone laughs. While this unfolds, LORA is interrupted by a buzzing in her pocket. She pulls it out, and we see a text window.

CIANA: Alright, sis, where’d you go? I look away for one second, and you’re gone.

LORA: Oh, we were out of toothpaste. I went to grab some more.

CIANA: Oh, alright. Just… please, let me know next time, okay?

LORA: Will do. Love you!

CIANA: Love you too.

At this point, we’re now focused on CIANA. She sets her phone down and sighs, waking into the bathroom for no apparent reason. We follow her hand as it moves around the counter, stopping at a full tube of toothpaste. Her eyes narrow, and she yells (to nobody in particular.).

CIANA: LORA!

back in maria’s house

WISTERIA: So, with introductions complete, what are we planning to do?

MARIA: Hmm. Well right now, I think I could do for some popcorn. Anybody else?

Focus in on MILA. She again gets a black-and-white flash.

MILA: Don’t use the Theatre Brand, it’ll burn. Consequently, the smell will make Wyatt pass out.

MARIA: Jeez. Butter-Pop it is, then.

before she gets the chance to leave, JORA’s phone starts ringing. she stands to answer.

JORA: Shh. Everybody, quiet! I’m getting a call. Mmm-hello!

CIANA: JORA!

JORA: Oh no.

CIANA: Out of toothpaste, huh? What’s the truth, sis?

JORA: Alright, fine. Ciana, I’m at my friend’s house. We decided to meet up.

CIANA: Why didn’t you tell me? Why- (sigh) I’m sorry. Jora, you’re not a kid anymore, and I have to stop being this overprotective sister. Go ahead and stay with your friends.

JORA: Wow. Didn’t know you had it in you, sis.

CIANA: Ha, ha. Don’t make me take it back. Have fun!

CIANA hangs up, sighing.

CIANA: She’ll be okay. What’s the worst that could happen?

the worst proceeds to happen. WISTERIA gets up and stretches, stepping to the window. Her eyes widen as she notices… a crack is growing in the sky.

WISTERIA: Hey. Um, not to scare you guys, but… the sky is breaking.

MILA: Seriously? Like, Chicken Little style?

WISTERIA: I’m serious! Look!

everyone gathers around the window, where we can see that yes, there is in fact a growing crack in the sky.

JORA: Oh, I’ve gotta check this out.

people start dashing out.

WYATT: So, are any of us NOT going to go out where the actual sky is actually breaking? No? Alright, cool.

cut forwards as a shot behind our heroes shows them standing in front of the crack. as thuds come, it grows in length, and glitches start showing up on the “sky.” MARIA gets into a fighting stance, as the sky freaking SHATTERS. there is now a hole in the sky, and, following a rope that is thrown down, three people with ornate, green-eyed masks slide down. one of them points to our heroes.

MASKED PERSON: Jamie, look.

zoom in on the masked person for a final climactic shot

MASKED PERSON: These must be some of the experiments.

All of this is very nice and slice of life-y, but would you mind explaining your premise?

Well,

Futuristic NYC. They all have powers, after this there will be a break-in when they escape, and figure out everything is not as it seems, yada-yada-yada caves blahblahblah powers filler


GOVERNMENT EXPERIMENT

so this is kind of like the calm before the storm, yeah? we’re introducing the characters, and setting up their pre-inciting event life, just so we have a reference point?

Yeah, Maria's a jock, Mila's a showoff, Wyatt is scared of air, Lora is sorta a rule-breaker, ane Wisteria is popular.

How long do we want the calm before the storm to last? (also, do we want to let on that it's leading up to something at all? what kind of shock value?)

I want it to last a little longer, but montage-y, so we can get to a c t i o n. Need me to list everyone's powers? (They'll come into play when we get to the caves episode, which is EP 3 or 4)

Here I go:

First we see Mila's, she has some type of psychic power, but she can't control it

Then, we see Lora's, who can bend water

After that is the caves Episode

Maria can explode things

Wisteria has light-bending

Then we finally see that Wyatt is a healer (He is ashamed of it, so that is why he gets band-aids)

also please explain what's happening- there's caves? government experiments? a break in? where are they breaking in TO? are having powers the norm? how do they discover the government's bad and everything's a lie? when do they start to suspect it? jdfjfwjnwqefjwqefjnwefjnwef

- When they realize that after the town hall, they're siblings are missing, since they didn't go to the meeting.

ok cool, i can work with this. I am getting a lot of divergent vibes.

What if they leave their siblings, them insisting that they can take care of themselves, reluctantly, and go off to do something idk, that gets skipped over. Soon time has already flown by and We get characterization on the walk to the town hall. One there we get some exposition at the town hall, only to return home and find the siblings missing.

Then they set off on a quest to find their siblings, and come across c a v e s

yes that. also, is the eternal falls in the caves?

Do we end the episode with the discovery that the siblings are missing, or with the discovery of the caves?

Siblings, then they will go look for them, then come across caves mid ep-2.

Eternal falls is the caves/a filler name for something more interesting

It is a pretty good name ngl I suck at naming my stories lol
