Selling a project???
I noticed in the FAQ's that a question was ‘Can I sell my projects?’ and the answer was yes. I also found this in the scratch wiki. http://wiki.scratch.mit.edu/wiki/Can_I_sell_my_Scratch_projects%3F I don't think I would want to sell my games, but would like to share them with my friends on a CD or something. it says it could be a compiled EXE (executable) or an APP (application). My friends wouldn't be able to play my game on their computers though unless they had scratch offline editor. Is there any way that I can do that without the offline editor? I tried making an executable file with IExpress. http://www.wikihow.com/Make-an-Exe-File But when I clicked it after, it asked me where I wanted to place the extracted file. I did, and the extracted file was the same sb2 file that wouldn't be able to be played unless it was with the scratch offline editor. I am not looking for profit, just a way to share my games with my friends without the website.

Selling a project???
If the project contains only 1.4 blocks, you can try http://wiki.scratch.mit.edu/wiki/Porting_Scratch_Projects in order to save the project as a 1.4 file. which you then convert into an EXE-like file.
I'm not aware of any Scratch 2.0 to EXE converters yet, though I have heard of some Scratchers working on some.

Sadly, my forum signature was eaten by an evil kumquat.
