Is there any way to get 200000 followers in 3 months?

Probably not. That's a very big number, and you'd have to make a LOT of projects, that are of good quality. It'd also be pretty stressful.

I suppose so, but you'd get banned pretty quickly if there was even the slightest amount of suspicion about how you got that many in that little time.

Technically, but let's be realistic. No one's ever done this, and it's not going to happen anytime soon.

That doesn't look like 200000 followers to me. Unless @griffpatch managers to get 3890 followers very soon, I'd say it's not going to happen anytime soon, as I just said. And if he had that kind of follower rate, he should have been at 200000 a long time ago.

Griffpatch got 4000 followers in a week according to Scratchstats. I think a week is “soon”.

No, you'll have to depend on your luck. If you have very good projects but no one notices you, you won't be popular. if somebody popular discovered it, maybe you'll be popular in a week

I don't think it works like that…

I've met a few scratchers who made complex projects but they only have 10 followers, and some scratchers who made (i'm sorry to say) bad projects get on trending and got a lot of followers

Sure – but with a user like @GoingToBecomePopular, that's not going to happen in three months. @griffpatch has had a large amount of followers for a while, so he may hit the mark soon enough. @GoingToBecomePopular has got a bit of a different story.
