The thing that says “chat rooms are not allowed, so they will be deleted” is really anoying. But anyway, what is a chat room? A cloud list with people talking in it? if thats what it is, I dont understand why that is so bad. Can someone from the scratch team please explain

Yes, you're right, a chat room is a cloud list where people can type anything they want. They are not allowed because people can post bad things in them and there could be inappropriate things in the chat. But, safe chat rooms are allowed - safe chat rooms are chat rooms where only some words are allowed.

Correct. That list of “safe” words is called a “white list”. “Black lists” (lists of words that are NOT okay) are not allowed, because a) people could see inside and read them and b) some words would be missed.

Also, you don't have to necessarily say a curse word to be mean. And chatrooms would be hard to moderate.
